Bayer Boervrou van die Jaar 2025

TERMS AND CONDITIONS

Description of competition:

With the Bayer Boervrou van die Jaar competition, Bayer Crop Science would like to give recognition to the women who form the backbone of our crop farming community: whether it’s our farmers’ wives or the women who stand at the head of a farming operation.

Female farmers, or the wives of farmers who farm with crops, can be nominated. The criteria will be based on the women’s overall involvement on the farm as well as in their broader community.

The winner in the category for Female Farmer of the Year, will walk away with R15 000 worth of products while the winner in the Farmer’s Wife category will win R10 000 to be donated to a charity of her choice. Both winners will also receive a R2 000 voucher, a R1 500 voucher from Uppe Marketing and three signed books by author, Milanie Vosloo.

The Bayer Boervrou van die Jaar competition incorporates the following two categories:

  • Wife of a Bayer crop farmer
