Bayer Boervrou van die Jaar 2026
TERMS AND CONDITIONS
Description of the competition:
With the Bayer Boervrou van die Jaar competition, Bayer Crop Science aims to recognise the women who are at the centre of our farming community: whether they are farmers’ spouses or women who are farmers in their own right.
Women who farm, or the spouses of farmers who farm with crops, may be nominated. Please note that only women who farm themselves or the spouses of farmers who farm with one or more Bayer crop protection products or DEKALB® seed may be nominated for this competition. The criteria will be based on the women’s overall involvement on the farm as well as in their broader community.
The winner in the Female Farmer of the Year category will receive Bayer/DEKALB® products to the value of R20 000, while the winner in the Farmer’s Wife category will receive R20 000 to be donated to a charity of her choice.
The Bayer Boervrou van die Jaar competition includes the following two categories:
- Wife of a Bayer crop farmer
